Dancing Silhouette Productions by Chitralekha Dutta presents to you ‘Heer Ranjha’ , a dance musical play and I am extremely excited to play the character of Modern Heer with my co-star Chaitanya Nalla, the modern Ranjha and actor of Firangi Rambabu series. You have to come watch the play in Rhythms 2018’s annual show to see the climax of the story but here is our teaser video.
In 35 degrees Fahrenheit and chilling weather, we shot scenes outdoors. But when you are passionate, nothing can stop you. Under the direction of Karunasish Biswas who had an unbeatable vision and short film winner director Tarun Seth (Little framee films), we were able to attempt to remake our all time favorite song Khuda Jaane starring Deepika Padukone & Ranbeer Kapoor in our own version using local Washington locations. Special thanks to our amazing drone video pilot Saptak Sen who took some amazing shots especially in frame starting at 1.24. Hope you like the video and the SIZZLING chemistry that we tried to portray in that chilly weather as actors.
